ITALIAN CUISINE IN THE WORD FORUM

We are the producers of the Italian Cuisine in the World Forum, an event hosted in Italy since 102 and promoted by the itchefs-GVCI (LINK) network, a professional community of chefs, restaurateurs and culinary professionals working in more than 70 countries, in the Italian food and wine industry, which we manage.
The delegates at the Forum represent an industry that includes over 80,000 restaurants in the world, authentic ambassadors of Italian cuisine, who serve millions of customers every day. Italian restaurants outside Italy are the most important showcase for Made in Italy agri-food and for a series of other products and services, including tourism.
Since its first edition, the Forum has represented the General States of the Italian restaurant industry and a unique opportunity:
• to discuss issues related to Italian restaurant industry outside Italy, current problems and challenges faced by excellent Italian agri-food production on foreign markets
• for a professional update of the delegates
• for the development of B2B relationships between selected producers and delegates.
The 2024 one will be the 8th edition of the Event.

SUSTAINABLE UAE EATING CAMPAIGN

Under the Sustainable UAE eating campaign we created and keep producing various events in Dubai and in the United Arab Emirates aiming at creating awareness among food professionals and consumers to reduce impact on nature, cut waste in the kitchen, design the new luxury. To date the campaign has included
– The Sustainable UAE Eating Awards at Gulfood
– The Green Stars Awards – to reward chefs, restaurants, hotels and F&B organizations committed the tenets of the campaign and supporting the local sustainable agriculture, its farmers and their produce.
– Out-of-the- box – an event for professionals focusing on WEB3.0 and Sustainable B2B on the fringe of Gulfood

IDIC - INTERNATIONAL DAY OF ITALIAN CUISINES

We organize the International Day of Italian Cuisines, an annual event born in 2008 as a reaction against the systematic forgery of Italian cuisine and products around the world. The IDIC aims at protecting the right of worldwide consumers to get authentic and quality Italian cuisine when they go to eateries labeled as “Italian”. Thousands of chefs, restaurateurs and culinary professionals join the appeal by including in their menu, in the same day, the official dish of the IDIC, which is either a traditional one (according to the original recipe) or one that represent the authentic spirit of Italian gastronomy.
